About Warhounds Wiki
This is not the official Warhounds website
Warhounds Wiki is an independent, unofficial reference site for players. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by Everplay DMCC, Brightika, Inc., Steam or Valve. The domain and site name do not imply official status.
Why the site exists
Game information is scattered across store copy, official announcements, platform pages, videos and community discussions. This guide turns verified facts into short, mobile-friendly routes while leaving unsupported answers visibly incomplete.
Who maintains this guide?
Warhounds Wiki is the publishing identity responsible for this independent site. Our editorial maintenance covers selecting public sources, checking claim and version boundaries, translating the same evidence into English and German, and correcting affected pages when stronger evidence changes an answer.
We do not have an in-game testing setup. Menu instructions are attributed to developer documentation; tactical comparisons are editorial applications of published rules. We do not present those comparisons, promotional images or original illustrations as our own gameplay tests.
How information is checked
We start with the Steam store, developer posts, official patch notes and Steam platform data. We check who published a statement, what it actually supports and whether a newer patch changes it. Community posts can identify questions or symptoms; they do not establish a mechanic on their own.
A check date means that the linked evidence was reviewed, not that we tested every installed build. Released patches and future roadmap items remain separate. When a newer source changes an older instruction, the guide names the narrower correction: Patch 1.0.1 removes the Recon Drone contract, not every drone prerequisite.
Public source index
These are the primary references behind the class, combat and base answers. Follow each official link to inspect the evidence, or open the related guide for the practical explanation. The 1.0.2 release was reviewed on September 29, 2026; earlier sources keep their individual check dates below.
- Steam store: game, classes and base systems
Checked September 22, 2026. Supports the Windows game identity, five class names and base-system categories. It does not establish a best squad, full skill tree or upgrade costs. Used in the class list and base-system overview.
- Developer FAQ: aiming, leveling and soldier menus
Checked September 22, 2026. Questions 2, 4 and 8 support the aiming panel, class-dependent stat growth and regular-soldier customization/renaming. Its older drone-contract instruction needs the Patch 1.0.1 correction below. Used in the conditional shot example and base menu steps.
- Developer ballistics explanation — August 19
Checked September 22, 2026. Supports separate bullet rolls, sniper versus burst behavior, cover/grazes and missed-bullet paths. The post’s example percentages are not a formula for every weapon. Used in the weapon comparison and combat explanation.
- Patch 1.0.1 — August 24
Checked September 22, 2026. The released patch supersedes the older Recon Drone contract requirement: build the Workshop. It does not document an equip key or establish the same unlock for Hunter Drone. See Recon Drone unlock and troubleshooting.
- Developer roadmap — August 27
Historical roadmap checked September 22, 2026. Its rookie-class plan is now superseded by the September 24 release announcement below. See recruit-class status.
- Patch #2: Simplified Chinese Localization — September 7
Checked in the official announcement feed on September 22, 2026. This earlier update adds Chinese UI/subtitles and UI fixes. The newer 1.0.2 release has its own announcement. See the released-fix table.
- Official 1.0.2 release notes
Published September 24, 2026 (UTC); reviewed September 29. Confirms rookie class selection, Exoskeleton availability, campaign rebalance, base displays, additional localizations and the named fixes. It does not establish veteran reclassification, new prices or a tested optimal build. See the released class-selection answer and current update status.
Visual and copyright policy
This guide combines original tactical illustrations and an independent compass mark with labeled official promotional screenshots. The publisher’s game.press media page links to the official game website and identifies its press material for media use. Screenshots illustrate the game; they do not prove current numerical values or untested mechanics. Game names and marks belong to their respective owners.
